Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Valence Clinic (Pulse Health PLLC) is committed to making its website accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We believe everyone should be able to find information about mental health care easily and independently, and we work to make that experience welcoming and barrier-free.

The standard we follow

This website is designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, Level AA — the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines are built on four principles: that content be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all users.

Conformance status

We have built this website with WCAG 2.1 Level AA in mind and have taken care to follow it throughout. As with any website, some content may not yet fully meet every guideline, and accessibility is something we treat as ongoing rather than finished. We monitor the site and work to correct issues as we find them or as they are reported to us.

Scope

This statement applies to the Valence Clinic website at valenceclinic.com. It does not cover third-party websites that we link to, or third-party content embedded from other services, as we do not control those.

What we do to support accessibility

  • We consider accessibility when creating and reviewing website content.
  • We use clear page structure, descriptive text for images, sufficient color contrast, and a layout that works with a keyboard and with assistive technologies such as screen readers.
  • We design the site to work on a range of devices and screen sizes.
